Mounting contrarian facts against Falun Gong's allegation is gainging media notice. I am glad to say among others, "Sujiatun Fact Or Hoax" has made it on "Top Scoops" in NZ's Scoop Independent News:

Some people have attempted to question the allegations that the Chinese government has been harvesting organs from live political prisoners and prisoners of conscience (such as the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners) for profit.

Here is an interesting email I received that was written by a concerned individual in Canada:

This cannot be refuted:

Between 2000 and 2005, the source of 41,500 organs in China is unclear.

China does not have a developed national voluntary donor program. Family
donors or non-family brain-dead donors account for, at most, one per cent of
donations in China. In this period, kidney transplants just about tripled,
and liver transplants jumped astronomically to 4,000 in 2005, compared with
about 150 in 1998, and with promised waiting times of one week -- unheard of
in the civilized world.

Consider the China International Transplantation Network Assistance Centre
website (http://en.zoukiishoku.com/). The Matas-Kilgour report indicates
that as of May 17, 2006, the English version of that site stated that the
centre was established in 2003 at the First Affiliated Hospital of China
Medical University "specifically for foreign friends. Most of the patients
are from all over the world." Though the original opening page of the site
has been changed, the older version can still be found, the opening sentence
of which declares that "Viscera (soft interior organs such as the lungs and
the heart) providers can be found immediately."

In the question-and-answer section, the site advertises that "Before the
living kidney transplantation, we will ensure the donor's renal function.
... So it is more safe than in other countries, where the organ is not from
a living donor." And the answer to "Are the organs for the pancreas
transplant from brain death patients?" is: "Our organs do not come from
brain death victims because the state of the organs may not be good."

This is damning evidence by their own words. Anyone who knows anything about
organ donations would be horrified to learn that organs come from "live"
patients, and are promised within the week or month, including kidneys,
livers and hearts. It means that live patients are being killed to provide
organs.

By their own words, and the corroborating interviews and calls, are the
Chinese authorities condemned.

Dave with a hidden blog profile commenting from the shadow, full of attachment to fear:

Melbourne Australia based democracy activist Mr. Zhang Hetse has address this claim made by Falun Gong:

http://www.observechina.net/info/artshow.asp?ID=40224

- Kilgour report has the problem of "cherry picking" numbers from Chinese source to make their case.

- Linking increase in transplant procedures to increase in available organs ignores reality in China.

10 years ago there're very few hospitals even with medial know-how to perform organ transplant in China.

The increase can be explained with medical advancement allowing use of organs that can not be transplanted previousely.

And finally, what Falun Gong can not explain away is, Wu and Zhang have been long time dissident, and they have no reason to cooperate with Beijing.

Epoch Times is paid for by Falun Gong, as my blog entry on non-profit declaration shows.

Epoch Time is at a minimun an interested party, if not an outright propaganda department of FLG.

Very believable.

Dave, it's obvious you are not interested in honest discussion, only personal attacks:

- blog handle and nickname is a common convention.

- I don't mind you promoting me, as my email is open to public in my profile. Compare to you with no last name and hidden profile.

- Everything I cited is publically verifiable information.

- My last name proving I'm Chinese only make sense in you racist mind.

- You accused me of being paid without providing a shred of proof.

Thank you for showing the world the true colors of Falun Gong disciples.

The world knows Epoch Times, Minhui, Clear Wisdom, NTDTV, Sound of Hope - are all Falun Gong propganda outlets.
